What are the limitations of ChatGPT
As a new technology, the tool also has its limitations which include
1. It may occasionally generate incorrect information: The concept of Artificial Intelligence does not assume 100% accuracy. As such, it may sometimes generate incorrect information for users. 2. It may occasionally produce harmful instructions or biased content: Biased and harmful instructions may also be generated by the machine in some cases.
3. It has limited knowledge of world and events after 2021: The technology behind ChatGPT is a new and evolving one and as such it is limited for the time been. With time, more knowledge base will be introduced into it. But for now, it is limited in knowledge
4. It cannot generate image results: The technology behind ChatGPT is known as GPT which means Generative Pre-trained Transformer. At the moment, the GPT architecture does not generate images. This is why all its responses are text-based. With this, we see that search engines like Google still has chances of remaining and retaining its relevance. But then, if this chatbot and other chatbots are able to produce images as output, then that will be the end for search engines.
5. It is not available in all countries: Following the much criticisms faced by ChatGPT, Some countries have already banned the service of ChatGPT. Some IT companies has also banned the integration of this tool to their services.
