Steps Involved in Processing Your UNN Transcript
The first step is to make a request on the portal. To do this, CLICK HERE. Accurately provide all the details required in the form. In filling the form, provide a valid email address which will be used to send you status alerts of your application.
Having finished the first step, the next step is to create a transcript profile by selecting your transcript type (Undergraduate or Postgraduate), select your campus and input your Matriculation/Registration number.
If you are doing this for the first time, then click on the checkbox (NO I don’t have an Application). But if you have done this previously and have successfully requested and PAID for a transcript, then there is no need of checking the box, just skip and click on CONFIRM after supplying your matric number and selecting your campus.
The next step is to make payment. The portal will request that you select the currency for payment (Local Currency or Foreign Currency). You should choose Local currency. Having done this, move one to provide other personal details that will be requested and contact information accordingly. Then click Create on the bottom left.
Next is to provide the correct address of the receiving institution. The information are as follows; the name of the Institution or Organization that the transcript is to be sent to as well as its full address including City, State, ZIP/Postcode (for foreign addresses), Country, and Continent. Please note that the address you enter is the address that the courier service provider will deliver your transcript to, therefore ensure that you are as detailed and accurate as possible. This is for courier service, which will attract extra cost for delivery. But you can choose to send the transcript via email address of the receiving institution.
To make payment, you can do this on Remita using your ATM card or other payment options supported by Remita. To use your ATM, ensure that it is enabled for online transactions. Else, you can make payment through your mobile application, USSD code and other options supported by Remita. You can also choose to generate RRR code (payment invoice) from the portal and head over to the bank for payment. This is not advisable anyways because it is time consuming.
Note: You can request for more than one transcript at a go, by making different requests and adding them to your cart. Note that you are charged per transcript request.
Having successfully made payment, the appropriate office handling the request will receive the notification and start processing your UNN Transcript. As such, you can monitor the progress of the processing of your transcript by logging on to the portal with the details sent to your email address. As soon as your transcript is picked up by your selected courier, you will then be provided with the tracking number of your transcript. This will help you monitor it between the time it is picked up by a courier and when it reaches its final destination.
How long does UNN Transcript take to be Ready?
This is a very important question that must be answered in this article. It is important because there are lots of institutions in which applying and getting your academic transcripts from them is a tug-of-way game. But in UNN, your transcript takes about a month or less for processing.
When the transcript is ready, what next?
Once your transcript is ready, approach the unit for the students copy while the original copy will be forwarded to the university or Organization you provided their address. Alternatively, your students copy can be sent to your personal email address. But note that the student copy is an unofficial copy.
